first fees, on the house

filed under: history · robinhood chain · 2026

Every new chain has the same awkward first step. You bridge, you swap, you mint — but only after you already own the gas token. The people most curious about a network are often the ones holding none of it.

Early faucets solved this by giving coins away. Not as a prize, and not as an investment, but as a key to the front door: enough to send a transaction and see the thing work.

This tap does the same for Robinhood Chain. Paste an address, type the code, and a small drip of ETH lands in your wallet — enough to cover your first fees on the chain. No purchase, no sign-up, no allocation. Just enough to start.

how the tap works

  1. paste a walletCopy the public address from any EVM wallet. It starts with 0x. Never share your seed phrase or private key.
  2. type the codeA fresh image code proves a person is turning the tap. Nothing is connected and nothing is signed on your side.
  3. wait a momentThe faucet signs and sends the transfer, then waits for Robinhood Chain to include it. Blocks land in well under a second.
  4. go exploreIf eligible, $1 worth of ETH is in your wallet — enough for many transactions on the chain.

why the tap asks questions

these are the rules the server actually enforces:

  1. your wallet must have real historyThe address needs at least 10 past transactions across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base and Robinhood Chain. Fresh bot wallets are turned away.
  2. one claim per IP every 24 hoursMany wallets from one connection still get a single drip.
  3. one claim per wallet every 24 hoursRefreshing or re-pasting does not create another claim.
  4. a fresh code for every claimEach image code works once and expires after five minutes.
  5. eligibility is checked by the serverThe browser cannot override cooldowns or claim history.
  6. the tap can run dryWhen the balance is gone, claims pause until someone refills the faucet address.

anyone can keep the tap flowing by sending ETH on Robinhood Chain to the public faucet address.

faq

what is this?

An independent community faucet that sends a small amount of ETH on Robinhood Chain to people who are new to it.

is claiming really free?

Yes. The faucet pays the transfer fee. You never connect a wallet or sign anything.

why do i need ETH?

ETH is the gas token on Robinhood Chain. Every transaction — a transfer, a swap, a contract call — needs a little of it for fees.

how often can i claim?

Once per IP every 24 hours, and once per wallet every 24 hours.

why was my wallet rejected?

Usually it has too few past transactions, or the wallet or connection claimed in the last 24 hours. The message under the button says which.

what happens when the faucet is empty?

The tap shows as dry and claims pause until someone refills the faucet address.

can i contribute?

Yes — send ETH on Robinhood Chain to the public faucet address above. Every $1 of ETH is another drip.

is this run by Robinhood?

No. This is an independent community project with no affiliation to Robinhood Markets or its subsidiaries.
